Communicate to Change (C2C)
Capacity building to empower users for effective service delivery.
This component focuses on change management, capacity enhancement, information generation and dispersion, education and effective communication among IFMIS stakeholders.
The key objectives of this component are:
- To develop adequate pool of knowledgeable, skilled and capable public servants that are effectively and efficiently using IFMIS to deliver and execute PFM (Public Finance Management).
- To have Kenyans understand the IFMIS system benefits and embrace it
Key successes in implementation of the change management strategy has been the successful rebranding of IFMIS, frequent information sharing with IFMIS users in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and Counties and the establishment of the IFMIS Academy for building capacity in the use of the system.
GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT IS NOW ONLINE
This has ushered in a new era of a fully automated procurement process, from requisition, tendering, contract award, to payment. The shift from manual to e-procurement makes public procurement more efficient and effective. It also enhances visibility and accountability at all levels of the procurement process, for the benefit of all Kenyans.
